A talk for schools by Carl Miller
In the Mind of A Diamond
Pressure makes diamonds, but only if someone shows you how to handle it.
A 40-minute talk by Carl Miller.
The talk
Honest, straight-talking, and built for the ones who’ve switched off
“It’s a 40-minute session, honest and straight-talking, built for young people who’ve heard every lecture and switched off. I talk to them the way someone from their own streets would. No jargon and no preaching, just real stories and practical tools they can use the same day.”
Outcomes
What students leave with
- A different way of seeing pressure, setbacks and the people around them
- Simple mindset tools for confidence, focus and self-control
- The belief that where they start doesn’t decide where they finish
- A moment of honesty many of them won’t have felt in a classroom before
Who it’s for
Shaped around what your students need right now
Follow-up mentoring
Carl can also follow up with small-group or one-to-one mentoring after the talk.
Based in Southampton and happy to travel. A quick call first helps shape the session around your students.
